Prem Abhinav P. is a passionate computer science graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an undergraduate degree in the same field from IIT Madras. He is an expert in machine learning and distributed systems, with a primary focus on Finacle Analytics and AI. As a software developer at Finacle, the world's leading banking software, he has contributed to two divisions - Analytics and Core banking. Currently working as a Technology Analyst (SDE) at edgeverve, Prem is part of Finacle's next big step to make "banking as a platform" a reality. His work at Finacle Analytics and AI involves developing features that enable intelligent notifications to engage customers based on their context, customer insights, and proprietary ranking algorithms using machine learning. He has also been involved in giving technical demos of the product to several banks and teams within the organization, exposing him to the business side of the product. In addition to his work at Finacle, Prem has also worked as a Research and Development Intern at edgeverve, where he worked on "Video Mining" applications in their Robotic process automation suite. He has also worked as a Full Stack Developer at telennium solutions, where he set up an analytics platform for data visualization with custom authentication and layouts. Prem's education history includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which he is set to complete in December 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT Madras, which he completed in 2018. Prem's technical skills include expertise in software engineering, AI, microservices, testing, ML, Java, Spring Boot, Clojure, Corpus, OpenCV, research science, and mobile.
